I am featuring this doll because it's my favorite of all of them. The photographer who took the original photo, Mick Rock, is one of my favorite photographers. So this is a tribute to two heroes of mine, Bowie and Mick Rock!
Did I say how much I love Star Wars already? Here is my crocheted version of my favorite droid, C-3PO. I was hoping to use him as an interpreter, unfortunately, yarn doesn't speak! I think he turned out very cute.
This is a crocheted doll inspired by mid Gwen Stefani's mid 90's style, Tragic Kingdom era. I think she turned out really cute.... I tried to make it look Chibi, even though I am not sure I succeeded since this is my first time trying that. I had a lot of fun making this doll!
The second I saw the outfit this character was wearing I knew I wanted to make one. I love costumes, and crocheting fulfill part of this passion. Since I love her costume, and Star Wars, I made it my challenge to turn yarn into a mini version of Rey. I took her for a photoshoot in my backyard, but I really wish I had a box of sand, that would have been awesome. Maybe next I go to the beach I will take more pics!
Last Sunday I had a lot of fun taking photos of these two adorable cats. Ginger is a little kitty that just moved to her forever home, and found a friend and mentor in the company of Trouble, a male cat that loves everybody. Little Ginger follows him everywhere he goes like a little shadow. It's so sweet to see them together. I was lucky enough to get this shot that shows how much this little kitty loves him. It makes me smile every time I look at it.
In case you don't know, I have a crochet blog that I have been running for the past two years. I have free crochet patterns, tips & tutorials, helpful links, crochet topics.. Anything I love about crochet!
