Amigurumi Jedi by missdolkapots Amigurumi Jedi by missdolkapots
I love Star Wars, so of course I had to try to make my own Jedi! It took me an entire weekend to do this. I can't tell you if it rained or shined for the last 2 days, because I didn't take my nose of this project! lol I am really happy with the result. I had no idea how I was going to do the lightsaber, but I went through my garage and found a piece of metal thing (not sure what it is for originally), but i think it works for an amigurumi doll.

It shows that a lot of time, patience and thought went into making this Jedi, with lightsaber and all! Amigurumi Jedi by ~missdolkapots ( Featured by maytel )

Very well made!  How did you make the hair stay down?  That's one of my biggest problems.

Thank you! I use some organic hairspray to keep the hair together. Spray starch works as well. :)

I don't have a proper pattern for this doll, when I get a chance I will try to make one, I have just been so busy!

how do you get your stitches to look so perfect and elegant? :O

Thanks! :) I think that's because I use a crochet needle that is smaller than required for the yarn, which makes the stitches tighter. (I use 2.25mm instead of a 4mm)

OhmygoodnessIwantonesomuch! :D

This is seriously awesome. I haven't seen something like it before, and I'm a massive Star Wars geek. Excellent work, and I look forward to seeing more little force users like these if you ever decide to make more of them. :)
